In the 4th minute, Marcello Lewandowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frankie Child was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Edvin van der Saar made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Simon Roche sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Arrows Academy FC's George Broom got a free kick in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcello Lewandowski came free, but Frankie Child reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Broom charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed George Broom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frankie Child showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcello Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Marcello Lewandowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tribos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcello Lewandowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Tribos's Edvin van der Saar got control of the ball when Simon Roche tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcello Lewandowski in the 28th minute of play forced Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Frankie Child to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Cristiano Faria made a precise shot to the right of Frankie Child. Arrows Academy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Arrows Academy FC's George Broom got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered George Broom off the ground. A collision led to Arrows Academy FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. George Broom hit a great ball. After 35 minutes of play, Tribos's Marcello Lewandowski made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frankie Child was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Frankie Child, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frankie Child made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcello Lewandowski in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Tribos were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camron Bullard to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Marcello Lewandowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tribos's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcello Lewandowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frankie Child breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frankie Child showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcello Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcello Lewandowski got free with Frankie Child in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th match minute, Arrows Academy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Des Ealham to maneuver through the defense. Pedrinho Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arrows Academy FC's Frankie Child proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Arrows Academy FC from getting a goal against them. After 66 minutes, Kurt Boyce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrows Academy FC and the Tribos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tribos's Xande Cabezudo was substituted for Marcello Lewandowski. In the 68th minute, Kurt Boyce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frankie Child showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Tribos were awarded a corner. Pedrinho Figueiredo went to the cornerflag to take it. When Tribos's Xande Cabezudo in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arrows Academy FC's goalie prevented a goal. Frankie Child showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Cabezudo in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Tribos's Xande Cabezudo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frankie Child narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Cristiano Faria made a precise shot to the right of Frankie Child. Arrows Academy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The supporters of Tribos booed when Arrows Academy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Haxby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frankie Child made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xande Cabezudo in the 87th minute of play. The Tribos fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Tribos's Xande Cabezudo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Xande Cabezudo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frankie Child was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Arrows Academy FC's Eddy Hill got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the Arrows Academy FC defense, Xande Cabezudo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frankie Child. The Arrows Academy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frankie Child should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tribos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
