Battal Cüneyt Akova hit a great ball. Jan-Ove Vesterberg made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Robin Hood sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, IFK Stockholm's Jan-Ove Vesterberg got control of the ball when Robin Hood tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Çağrı Ziver in the 18th minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Vesterberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfred Zaha hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Jan-Ove Vesterberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Hood, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Anton Kvarnström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Sarmento came free, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robin Hood in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Ove Vesterberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Robin Hood's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Jan-Ove Vesterberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Hood in the 39th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as 1930 Bafraspor's Bebeto Sarmento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan-Ove Vesterberg. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. 47 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Sarmento came free, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Jan-Ove Vesterberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Hood in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's Robin Hood sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Ove Vesterberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to IFK Stockholm getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Battal Cüneyt Akova hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Hood in the 72nd minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Vesterberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
