Fritz Dahlkvist started the match with the kick off. Anton Kvarnström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Luiz Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Kvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Anton Kvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of IFK Stockholm booed when Montesclarense E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Dahlkvist came free, but Luiz Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Custódio. With a little luck, IFK Stockholm's Jan-Ove Vesterberg got control of the ball when Kauan Guerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Eger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anton Kvarnström's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Luiz Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Dahlkvist in the 35th minute of play. Anton Kvarnström struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Luiz Eger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Stockholm. Anton Kvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kauan Guerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Eger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fritz Dahlkvist went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 59th of the match, Anton Kvarnström tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Luiz Eger got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Eger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Damião came free, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fritz Dahlkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Luiz Eger made a huge save. In the 80th minute Anton Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Luiz Custódio during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Custódio. In the 83rd minute, IFK Stockholm's Anton Kvarnström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Eger. Luiz Eger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 86th minute, Pedro Luís Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Ove Vesterberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Kvarnström in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded IFK Stockholm left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Montesclarense E.C..
