The IFK Stockholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Ove Vesterberg should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Robin Hood notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of IFK Stockholm's Jan-Ove Vesterberg. Jan-Ove Vesterberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to 1930 Bafraspor getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. George Popescu took the corner. A nice corner shot did that George Popescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan-Ove Vesterberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Robin Hood's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 64thth minute of the game Robin Hood who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Stockholm's Jan-Ove Vesterberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan-Ove Vesterberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robin Hood's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Jan-Ove Vesterberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bebeto Sarmento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. Jan-Ove Vesterberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Hood, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The 1930 Bafraspor fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when 1930 Bafraspor's Robin Hood looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jan-Ove Vesterberg was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Bebeto Sarmento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bebeto Sarmento really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 91st minute of the match, Bebeto Sarmento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of 1930 Bafraspor booed when IFK Stockholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, IFK Stockholm's Jan-Ove Vesterberg got control of the ball when Robin Hood tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 1930 Bafraspor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
