Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Dalmu in the 3rd minute of the match. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Ordono in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Dalmu in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caetano Monteiro saved Icoara Football Club from getting behind. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Dalmu in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Adrian Reno made a precise shot to the right of Caetano Monteiro. Icoara Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Maximiliano Dalmu came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Black Rose 1979 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Dalmu couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Valdo Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Dalmu took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano Monteiro. Caetano Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Rose 1979's Maximiliano Dalmu. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Dalmu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Maximiliano Dalmu might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caetano Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Dalmu ran back to his position shaking his head. Egídio Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Guillem having to interfere. If Egídio Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Dalmu in the 38th minute of play. Caetano Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Dalmu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Dalmu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caetano Monteiro. Icoara Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Dalmu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

Maximiliano Dalmu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Caetano Monteiro made a huge save. Mariano Ordono received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Caetano Monteiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariano Ordono slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 58th minute. Caetano Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Ordono went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Mariano Ordono might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caetano Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Ordono ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute Maximiliano Dalmu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrício Rosa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Maximiliano Dalmu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Lucas in the 75th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Baldomero Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano Dalmu in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Caetano Monteiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano Dalmu in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matías Ceresso hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes, Black Rose 1979's Alonzo Oxel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Black Rose 1979 reached it. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Dalmu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caetano Monteiro was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Black Rose 1979 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Icoara Football Club.
