The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Bruly's Joseph Neels in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Bruly's protests and gave Benoit Keuppens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Benoit Keuppens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes Real de Carmelo 2021 FC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Bengoechea. Rudy Duchateau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Leo Fernandez got a free kick in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Bengoechea came free, but Rudy Duchateau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph Neels got free with Sebastián Sosa in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastián Sosa made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck sent off a good shot on target. Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck had several of the Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Sebastián Sosa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sebastián Sosa made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Erwin-Alexander Beckers sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joseph Neels to make the kick off. Bruly's Rudy Duchateau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Bruly from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute, Leo Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Bengoechea got free with Rudy Duchateau in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC made a substitution. Cristián Rodriguez replaced Leo Fernandez. 63 minutes into the game, Boudewijn Lanfan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sebastián Sosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Benoit Keuppens hit a great ball. Wesley Oelaerts, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Bruly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Benoit Keuppens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck got a free kick in the 98th minute. Bruly's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
