After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Leo Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Demario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Delmiro Castel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastián Sosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Mannie in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when Real de Carmelo 2021 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Bengoechea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Pablo Bengoechea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso Demario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Juventud Antoniana got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Porfiro. In the 22nd minute, Genaro Porfiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Bengoechea hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Miguel Ponce took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Sebastián Sosa to make any attempt to save it. Celso Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Bengoechea in the 38th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ernesto Geleberto in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Ermano Tesillo. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Castel in the 66th minute of play forced Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Oihenarte hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Juventud Antoniana made a substitution. Roque Oihan replaced Alejandro Medina. In the 76th minute, Israel Oihenarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Juventud Antoniana's Celso Demario got control of the ball when Pablo Bengoechea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Mannie in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Rigoberto Mannie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastián Sosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Xavier Gabiña was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, one of Real de Carmelo 2021 FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Miguel Ponce walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 89th minute Miguel Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Castel came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match Juventud Antoniana got a corner. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roque Oihan ran over to the corner to take the kick.
