Aquilino Basualdo hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Chelsea Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Oro came free, but Emanuel Carletti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes, Ivan Txeru made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cebollitas F.C.'s Casimiro Erramun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Cebollitas F.C.'s Israel Gonzo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuel Carletti. That made the score 2-1 after 30 minutes of play. Sergio Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Casimiro Erramun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Txeru in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Gaudencio Matro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chelsea Football Club and the Cebollitas F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chelsea Football Club's David Sein got a free kick in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Ivan Txeru might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casimiro Erramun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Txeru ran back to his position shaking his head. When Chelsea Football Club's Ivan Txeru in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
