Ryszard Szotek was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, one of Szalone Konie:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, Chelsea Football Club's Anacleto Costante got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Teofil Lanczak. Teofil Lanczak made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ivan Txeru sent off a good shot on target. Szalone Konie's Teofil Lanczak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Szalone Konie from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Angelino Bidun notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Szalone Konie's Teofil Lanczak. Teofil Lanczak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivan Txeru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofil Lanczak having to interfere. Angelino Bidun's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Teofil Lanczak firmly grabbed it by the left post. Chelsea Football Club were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Szalone Konie's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aquilino Basualdo took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Baldomiro Sabino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Chelsea Football Club getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Baldomiro Sabino hit a great ball. Gaudencio Matro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes Chelsea Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wit Dubilas who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Chelsea Football Club's goalie and right to Pankracy Tepper. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Chelsea Football Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Txeru was the one to do the kick off. Teofil Lanczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Txeru in the 53rd minute of the match. Teofil Lanczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Txeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Angelino Bidun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Teofil Lanczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Angelino Bidun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chelsea Football Club and the Szalone Konie players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Angelino Bidun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Wit Dubilas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Angelino Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th match minute, Chelsea Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Chelsea Football Club booed when Szalone Konie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slawomir Gejda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofil Lanczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Txeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Chelsea Football Club's Emanuel Carletti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizinho Matos in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chelsea Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wit Dubilas was slow to take the kick. During this time Szalone Konie's players had a chance to rest. In the 89th minute of the match Aquilino Basualdo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teofil Lanczak skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Szalone Konie booed when Chelsea Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Sein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofil Lanczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Txeru in the 96th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Ivan Txeru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofil Lanczak. Szalone Konie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Txeru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Szalone Konie players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chelsea Football Club.
