With a left leg Edgar Brenner saved AIF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Kaiser in the 5th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper Edgar Brenner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Villafuerte Aramoyana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Brenner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Anton Harlén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Michael Kaiser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Brenner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Sergio Munis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Brenner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Porteño Prowess FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after AIF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lara Mendaña took the corner. The corner led Porteño Prowess FC's Lara Mendaña to fire away a dangerous shot which Edgar Brenner despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. AIF's Edgar Brenner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Kaiser in the 21st minute of play. Edgar Brenner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Kaiser in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Villafuerte Aramoyana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Brenner. AIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Villafuerte Aramoyana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in AIF's zone, Villafuerte Aramoyana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Brenner came out of the goal and Villafuerte Aramoyana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogelio Portero charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Portero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Porteño Prowess FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Rogelio Portero hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bror Skoog kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zamora Olvera. That made the score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. After 36 played minutes Porteño Prowess FC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Dieguez. Zamora Olvera made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Bror Skoog sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Moises Falces hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Michael Kaiser cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Edgar Brenner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The AIF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Porteño Prowess FC were winning 1-2.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Douglas Hellgren during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Porteño Prowess FC booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Hellgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Porteño Prowess FC's Lara Mendaña got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Porteño Prowess FC got a corner. AIF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lara Mendaña ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lara Mendaña made a great header on Porteño Prowess FC's corner, it was just that AIF's Edgar Brenner managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Porteño Prowess FC booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Skoog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villafuerte Aramoyana struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Edgar Brenner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porteño Prowess FC. Michael Kaiser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Dieguez's late challenge caught a AIF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Dieguez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Porteño Prowess FC's Leo Dieguez got a free kick in the 76th minute. Edgar Brenner made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Michael Kaiser sent off a good shot on target. Edgar Brenner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villafuerte Aramoyana, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Fred Alegren put in a rough tackle. 85 minutes into the game, one of AIF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 90 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Villafuerte Aramoyana came free, but Edgar Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Brenner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villafuerte Aramoyana in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by AIF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lara Mendaña was slow to take the kick. During this time Porteño Prowess FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Michael Kaiser managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Edgar Brenner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venerando Galvez in the 98th minute of play. Porteño Prowess FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
