During the 14th minute of the match Bernardino Beltran completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernardino Beltran a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bernardino Beltran kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Cordarius came free, but Zamora Olvera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Porteño Prowess FC booed when Jabones Tocadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Flor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siro Sal charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siro Sal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jabones Tocadores getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jabones Tocadores's Francisco Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villafuerte Aramoyana in the 45th minute of play. During the 45th minute of the match Siro Sal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Siro Sal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Cordarius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Francisco Montay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villafuerte Aramoyana in the 51st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Francisco Montay successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
