Kristof Klompe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edgar Brenner firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 6th minute, Pascal Baalman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascal Vledder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Harlén in the 7th minute of play. With an all-out effort, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Edgar Brenner threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 14th minute Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Brenner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Germano do Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Brenner. AIF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Germano do Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Edgar Brenner made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Kristof Klompe sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Brenner saved AIF from getting behind. After a rather tough play, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pascal Baalman got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, De Digitale Dribbelaars's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Jonasson came free, but Pascal Vledder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Brenner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute Greger Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Vledder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristof Klompe to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Karl-Axel Persson in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pawel Bugno. 62 minutes into the match, AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen came free, but Edgar Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AIF booed when De Digitale Dribbelaars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Collin got free with Pascal Vledder in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Brenner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A collision led to De Digitale Dribbelaars getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jack Oosterbaan hit a great ball. In the 74th match minute, De Digitale Dribbelaars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thijs Nijhof to maneuver through the defense. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pascal Vledder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Collin in the 75th minute of play. It was beautiful to see AIF's Wilhelm Anundsson in action when he in the 79th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Edgar Brenner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Axel Persson to maneuver through the defense. Pawel Bugno hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Stefan Collin didn't quite understand what happened when in the 95 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. For all the effort they put into the match, the AIF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for De Digitale Dribbelaars.
