Silvano Martxel kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Waitakere F.C.'s Sergio Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şadi İçkin in the 6th minute of play. Beyaz Zenciler's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waitakere F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Waitakere F.C. booed when Beyaz Zenciler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cemal Barkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicanor Pueblo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. In the 22nd match minute, Waitakere F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Chorche to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Abdullah Mandal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Nazario. Waitakere F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdullah Mandal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 39 minutes, Kazım Tuncay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beyaz Zenciler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kazım Tuncay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Lesardo's late challenge caught a Beyaz Zenciler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Lesardo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Waitakere F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Zacarias Lesardo hit a great ball. The supporters of Beyaz Zenciler booed when Waitakere F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Chorche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhuo Shi Jie struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Sergio Nazario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beyaz Zenciler. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvano Martxel to make the kick off. Abdullah Mandal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Pueblo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cüneyt Ayberk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Waitakere F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Bizen to maneuver through the defense. Waitakere F.C.'s Mateo Marin was substituted for Braulio Chorche. In the 61st minute, Kazım Tuncay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zhuo Shi Jie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Sergio Nazario made a huge save. With a little luck, Waitakere F.C.'s Sergio Nazario got control of the ball when Zhuo Shi Jie tried to sneak it across the goal line.
