Anfilogino Tozzi charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anfilogino Tozzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, AC Morena's Anfilogino Tozzi got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A collision led to Cobresal getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Julian Bermudo hit a great ball. AC Morena's Biagio Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florín Sances in the 17th minute of play. Biagio Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Pincheira in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Di Sipio in the 19th minute of play forced Cobresal's goalkeeper Patricio Mayol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Alfredo Di Sipio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cobresal's Patricio Mayol. Patricio Mayol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florín Sances in the 23rd minute of play forced AC Morena's goalkeeper Biagio Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Ercole Zarillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Biagio Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Roldán, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Andrea Del Gatto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Morena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cobresal the free kick. After a rather tough play, AC Morena's Andrea Del Gatto got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes AC Morena got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Giacchetti. 37 minutes into the match, AC Morena's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Roldán came free, but Biagio Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Biagio Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Roldán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of AC Morena booed when Cobresal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alifonso Elorreaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Mayol came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Morena's Alfredo Di Sipio. But to his dismay, Alfredo Di Sipio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florín Sances made a kick off. Alfredo Di Sipio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Mayol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Florín Sances ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Biagio Polo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. AC Morena's Biagio Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavi Thayer in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Eriberto Pincheira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobresal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Pincheira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Julian Bermudo in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AC Morena's Carmine Di Girolamo. Salvador Roldán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Polo having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, Cobresal's Salvador Roldán made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Polo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, Anfilogino Tozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Cobresal's Salvador Roldán slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Biagio Polo. That made the score 2-4 after 79 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Roldán in the 82nd minute of play forced AC Morena's goalkeeper Biagio Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cobresal's Eriberto Pincheira in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Morena's goalie prevented a goal. Biagio Polo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 2-5. Biagio Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Roldán in the 89th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, AC Morena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Zarillo to maneuver through the defense. AC Morena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florín Sances was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. Cobresal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
