Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Călin Feroiu got the match started through his kick off. Maci FC's Adriano De Laurentiis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, DINAMO's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fortunato Madonna fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of DINAMO booed when Maci FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corrado Farina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano De Laurentiis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Feroiu in the 11th minute of play. Călin Boteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Reali, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Maci FC got a corner. DINAMO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvise Gambini ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 24 played minutes Maci FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Preda. Leonard Demian, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Opincaru in the 28th minute of play forced Maci FC's goalkeeper Adriano De Laurentiis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Maci FC's Bruno Preda got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Maci FC's zone, Călin Feroiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano De Laurentiis came out of the goal and Călin Feroiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano De Laurentiis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Borcz in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Opincaru in the 35th minute of play forced Maci FC's goalkeeper Adriano De Laurentiis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dumitru Opincaru took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriano De Laurentiis. Adriano De Laurentiis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, Dumitru Opincaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adriano De Laurentiis. Maci FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dumitru Opincaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Adriano De Laurentiis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryszard Borcz went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Nicolai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. DINAMO's Călin Boteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Nicolai in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Nicolai in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Călin Boteanu saved DINAMO from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Nicolai in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Călin Boteanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano De Laurentiis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ryszard Borcz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 56 minute of play. Claudio Nicolai took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Boteanu. Călin Boteanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Adriano De Laurentiis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Călin Boteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Nicolai, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, DINAMO's Ryszard Borcz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano De Laurentiis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryszard Borcz during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Borcz. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. George Martin hit a great ball. Maci FC's Bruno Preda suffered a concussion in the 73rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Călin Feroiu's late challenge caught a Maci FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Călin Feroiu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Călin Feroiu hit a great ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Claudio Nicolai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Călin Boteanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th match minute, Maci FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Gambini to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, DINAMO's Călin Feroiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adriano De Laurentiis. Adriano De Laurentiis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. In the 80th minute, Dumitru Opincaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DINAMO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. Niolaao Lobregon kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ryszard Borcz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-8 in the 89th playminute. After 96 minutes, Dumitru Opincaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DINAMO and the Maci FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. DINAMO were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Maci FC's much stronger midfield.
