Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elliot Rosendal kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Gallardo during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Gallardo to maneuver through the defense. Hale Mckinnes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Navarro Montoya. GuateFortín's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jarrett Maddern hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Elderslie Magpies were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after GuateFortín's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jarrett Maddern took the corner. Jarrett Maddern made a great header on Elderslie Magpies's corner, it was just that GuateFortín's Carlos Navarro Montoya managed to reach the ball for a save. Carlos Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Rosendal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute, Patricio Villacorta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Navarro Montoya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elliot Rosendal's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Madureira. Julio Asad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban Guerrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Milton Umaña took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Guerrero. Esteban Guerrero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Milton Umaña hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Elliot Rosendal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Navarro Montoya was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jarrett Maddern managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elderslie Magpies's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarrett Maddern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Navarro Montoya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elderslie Magpies's Esteban Guerrero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Elderslie Magpies from getting a goal against them. Carlos Navarro Montoya came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Elderslie Magpies's Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima. But to his dismay, Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Esteban Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Alvarado in the 49th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patricio Alvarado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. George Galvin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Asad in the 57th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Esteban Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GuateFortín made a substitution. Ferenc Sárközi replaced Patricio Alvarado. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by GuateFortín's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jarrett Maddern was slow to take the kick. During this time Elderslie Magpies's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of GuateFortín's goalie and right to Joel Åkerman. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. GuateFortín's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 70th minute, Sebastião Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Terciero in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Mateo Terciero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GuateFortín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 83 minutes into the game, Mateo Terciero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Esteban Guerrero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 86 minutes, Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elderslie Magpies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Victor Valenzuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Milton Umaña in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Guerrero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 minutes, Duke Trenoweth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elderslie Magpies and the GuateFortín players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duke Trenoweth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Abraham Santamaria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteban Guerrero skillfully saved the ball. After 97 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Victor Valenzuela made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteban Guerrero was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GuateFortín had won after a very even match.
