The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Ornitorrincos F.C. booed when Vidlákov SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Pelliccia didn't get a good kick on the ball. César Bertrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mor Vidlák in the 17th minute of the match. César Bertrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 38 minutes of play, Vidlákov SK's Mor Vidlák made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The crowd rose to their feet as José Carlos Zapata kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yao Yang Peng. That made the score 1-4 in the 46 minute of play. After the first half Vidlákov SK were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mor Vidlák to strike the kick off in the second half. Luboš Koukal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but César Bertrand made a huge save. Vidlákov SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikita Hauer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César Bertrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. César Bertrand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mor Vidlák's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. With a little luck, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s César Bertrand got control of the ball when Luboš Koukal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luboš Koukal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vidlákov SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
