The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Academia Militar MZ's Silvério Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Dynda in the 6th minute of play. Silvério Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Puch in the 8th minute of play. Adrianinho de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Olimpia HSB got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Puch. In the 24th minute, Dedé Carneiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Olimpia HSB's Kacper Ciszewski didn't even have to move. Konrad Puch kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Kacper Ciszewski made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Toninho Dias sent off a good shot on target. Orlando de Andrade hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes, Olimpia HSB's Zachariasz Lukasik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvério Netto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olimpia HSB reached it. Silvério Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Orling, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Olimpia HSB made a substitution. Mieszko Mocko replaced Radomir Pryla. After 43 played minutes Academia Militar MZ got a freekick which was hit by Orlando de Andrade. Silvério Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Galagan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zbigniew Galagan to make the kick off. When Puniša Gadzama fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpia HSB's protests and gave Puniša Gadzama a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Puniša Gadzama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes Academia Militar MZ got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Dias. In the 58th minute Adrianinho de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Ciszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Jaroslaw Klewinski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olimpia HSB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With an all-out effort, Olimpia HSB's Silvério Netto threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucjan Orling, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Olimpia HSB's Marek Sitko was substituted for Ulryk Dynda. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olimpia HSB's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dedé Carneiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia Militar MZ's players had a chance to rest. If Adrianinho de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Puniša Gadzama kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Lucjan Orling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olimpia HSB's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
