After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Orlando de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Militar MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando de Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Bracco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvério Netto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Aurelio Rozzi got a free kick in the 44th minute. Academia Militar MZ's Dedé Carneiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alberto Bracco but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gualter Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Militar MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Nóbrega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Bracco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando de Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Academia Militar MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. When Orlando de Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Academia Militar MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando de Andrade couldn't finish the play. Orlando de Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Bracco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Orlando de Andrade scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Bracco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Camillo Petrocchi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvério Netto. Silvério Netto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Orlando de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Alberto Bracco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hajime Taki kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Silvério Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Petrocchi in the 93rd minute of play. Old BaoBaB Accademy were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Academia Militar MZ's much stronger midfield.
