When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Lúcio Proença took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Israel Bortzaioriz to make any attempt to save it. Marcial Odon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho de Queirós having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Proença in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Israel Bortzaioriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Acácio Ortiz made a precise shot to the right of Israel Bortzaioriz. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 44 minutes into the game, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Lúcio Proença nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Bortzaioriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Jakobe to strike the kick off in the second half. When Franklin Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Imbituba - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franklin Tavares couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute Acácio Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Imbituba - FSCMZ were the better team. Imbituba - FSCMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
