Piotr Diepgen made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Wieslaw Maziarski sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Mikolaj Budzynski took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Piotr Diepgen to make any attempt to save it. Wieslaw Maziarski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Piotr Diepgen made a huge save. 26 minutes into the game, Gerhard Vejs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS LEW Chorzów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buffalo Bills the free kick. After some careless play in the KS LEW Chorzów defense, Johannes-Paul Heite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wit Kasperowicz. The KS LEW Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wit Kasperowicz should have stopped the shot. Wieslaw Maziarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Piotr Diepgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
