Merengue FC's Cirilo Frichoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Stanislaw Walczyk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jairo Nazario, made in the 14th minute of the game. Damian Banaszak might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cirilo Frichoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Banaszak ran back to his position shaking his head. Cirilo Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Banaszak in the 16th minute of the match. If Eustaquio Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23rd play minutes Rafal Kosowski shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Cirilo Frichoso and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 28th minute, Damian Banaszak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cirilo Frichoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 32nd minute Damian Banaszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes, Damian Banaszak made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Merengue FC's Cirilo Frichoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Banaszak might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cirilo Frichoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merengue FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Frichoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Damian Banaszak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cirilo Frichoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. After the first half Pogoń Stawiszyn were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustaquio Iraido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cirilo Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Banaszak in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Victoro to maneuver through the defense. Damian Banaszak ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Banaszak got free with Cirilo Frichoso in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Stanislaw Walczyk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jairo Nazario, made in the 67th minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Merengue FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Damian Banaszak succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-13 in the 76th playminute. Rafal Kosowski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Cirilo Frichoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 81 minutes into the game, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Damian Banaszak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cirilo Frichoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. With a little luck, Merengue FC's Cirilo Frichoso got control of the ball when Rafal Kosowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Damian Banaszak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Stawiszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Banaszak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafal Kosowski's late challenge caught a Merengue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafal Kosowski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pogoń Stawiszyn getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Rafal Kosowski hit a great ball. Jairo Nazario made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jose Victoro. 91 minutes into the match, Damian Banaszak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirilo Frichoso. Merengue FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Banaszak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-15. 95 minutes into the game, Damian Banaszak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-16. Cirilo Frichoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Rafal Kosowski came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Pogoń Stawiszyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafal Kosowski couldn't finish the play. The Merengue FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pogoń Stawiszyn were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
