Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Burkhard Niebler started the match with the kick off. Alfonso Dalmai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burkhard Niebler in the 4th minute of play. Wulf-Dieter Schwarze took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Dalmai. Alfonso Dalmai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nemesio Ubendu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthew Jastrzembowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Sportivo Fernet Branca were awarded a corner. Martin-Daniel Branca went to the cornerflag to take it. When Erasmo Teyo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Fernet Branca's protests and gave Erasmo Teyo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Erasmo Teyo got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of Hamburg Fighters booed when Sportivo Fernet Branca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Teyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Walt Schräder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Nemesio Ubendu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Nemesio Ubendu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Fernet Branca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Ubendu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nemesio Ubendu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Matthew Jastrzembowski made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Matthew Jastrzembowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Ubendu. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jens Stober's late challenge caught a Sportivo Fernet Branca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens Stober helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Hamburg Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Jens Stober. 55 minutes into the game, Holder Fohler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hamburg Fighters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Fernet Branca the free kick. In the 55th match minute, Hamburg Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holder Fohler to maneuver through the defense. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Nemesio Ubendu got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute Nemesio Ubendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Jastrzembowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burkhard Niebler kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Martin-Daniel Branca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matthew Jastrzembowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sportivo Fernet Branca reached it. In the 65thth minute of the game Nemesio Ubendu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hamburg Fighters's zone, Nemesio Ubendu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthew Jastrzembowski came out of the goal and Nemesio Ubendu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nemesio Ubendu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Ubendu in the 70th minute of play. After 76 minutes of play Hamburg Fighters's Holder Fohler was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Hamburg Fighters getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Holder Fohler hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Nemesio Ubendu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matthew Jastrzembowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Sportivo Fernet Branca getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Erasmo Teyo hit a great ball. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Ubendu in the 88th minute of play. When Sportivo Fernet Branca's Nemesio Ubendu in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hamburg Fighters's goalie prevented a goal. Martin-Daniel Branca hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes Hamburg Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Karhoff. Hamburg Fighters were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
