The audience was convinced that Leszek Piglowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caio da Costa was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Caio da Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerzy Dulemba. 25 minutes into the game, Luiz Nóbrega cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wiktor Ciborek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 29 minutes of play, Abutres 2003 FDP's Arlindo Teixeira made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wiktor Ciborek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wiktor Ciborek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Tony Passos put in a rough tackle. In the 34th minute, Tony Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Illuminati's Marian Wolicki got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo Bittencourt in the 40th minute of play forced Illuminati's goalkeeper Wiktor Ciborek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Abutres 2003 FDP's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Piglowski came free, but Caio da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Illuminati getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Marian Wolicki hit a great ball. After the first half Abutres 2003 FDP were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leszek Piglowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caio da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Piglowski in the 52nd minute of the match. Claudinho Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Lech Kaczynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiktor Ciborek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Queirós in the 59th minute of the match. When Geraldo Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abutres 2003 FDP's protests and gave Geraldo Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Abutres 2003 FDP getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Geraldo Queirós hit a great ball. After 62 minutes, Erik Donatello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abutres 2003 FDP and the Illuminati players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erik Donatello hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Illuminati! When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Abutres 2003 FDP's Erik Donatello got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wiktor Ciborek. Wiktor Ciborek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Queirós in the 71st minute of play. Arlindo Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Wiktor Ciborek made a huge save. The supporters of Abutres 2003 FDP booed when Illuminati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Dulemba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Illuminati's Wiktor Ciborek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Illuminati from getting a goal against them. Wiktor Ciborek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geraldo Queirós showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 91 minute of play. The supporters of Illuminati booed when Abutres 2003 FDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abutres 2003 FDP played a much better game than Illuminati and deserved their victory. The Illuminati players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
