Cristóvão de Salles started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Gudesteo Zapater was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dinamita on Grass's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abutres 2003 FDP the free kick. After 4 played minutes Dinamita on Grass got a freekick which was hit by Gudesteo Zapater. After 5 played minutes Abutres 2003 FDP got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão de Salles. After 8 played minutes Abutres 2003 FDP got a freekick which was hit by Tony Passos. Gudesteo Zapater took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Caio da Costa. Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Tony Passos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 9 minutes had been played. Igor Sainz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Bittencourt in the 20th minute of the match. Hernando Zafrilla was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dinamita on Grass! In the 28th minute, Aureo Bajo made a precise shot to the right of Caio da Costa. Abutres 2003 FDP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 32 played minutes Abutres 2003 FDP got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão de Salles. Caio da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Odín in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Abutres 2003 FDP defense, Conrado Odín kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caio da Costa. The Abutres 2003 FDP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caio da Costa should have stopped the shot. Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Torres in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Abutres 2003 FDP booed when Dinamita on Grass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gudesteo Zapater didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Sainz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geraldo Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geraldo Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Abutres 2003 FDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Queirós to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureo Bajo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Abutres 2003 FDP were awarded a corner. Claudinei Ceresso succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Igor Sainz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Geraldo Queirós reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Igor Sainz. The goal made the score 2-2. In the 71st minute, Nuno Barroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Sainz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Erik Donatello. In the 86th minute, Roberto Rubio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dinamita on Grass fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 90 minutes into the match, Abutres 2003 FDP's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Rubio came free, but Caio da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caio da Costa came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamita on Grass's Nuno Barroso. But to his dismay, Nuno Barroso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureo Bajo in the 94th minute of play forced Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Caio da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinho Pernambucano during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Abutres 2003 FDP got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Pernambucano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Odín in the 97th minute of play forced Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Caio da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Abutres 2003 FDP players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dinamita on Grass.
