Varennes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when André Carlsson scored to the left of an out of position Brice Leach, making the score, 1-0. Brice Leach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Shirley kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Varennes's Brice Leach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Varennes from getting a goal against them. Erik Qvarnström charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Qvarnström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Hummerfiskarna got a freekick which was hit by Erik Qvarnström. With a little luck, Hummerfiskarna's Gottfrid Kullander got control of the ball when Adolphe Murdock tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gottfrid Kullander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gale Laliberté in the 73rd minute of play. Lee Coffman kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute André Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Leach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Carlsson scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brice Leach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gottfrid Kullander made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Loic Deal sent off a good shot on target.
