Santa Luis kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The Old Boys's Vinicio Bidari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save The Old Boys from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Stephen during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Bernardo Stephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Tiburones Machos's Cristo Koldobika got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Tiburones Machos's goal looked a bit too open when Santa Luis came free, but Jose Urko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Stephen kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santa Luis in the 19th minute of play forced Tiburones Machos's goalkeeper Jose Urko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Urko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santa Luis, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Jairo Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Antonio Abadie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Bidari was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jose Urko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santa Luis in the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Santa Luis suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 44 minutes, Adan Joachim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiburones Machos and the The Old Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adan Joachim hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Bernardo Stephen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiburones Machos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Stephen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rosendo Goyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vinicio Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Goyo in the 52nd minute of the match. Antonio Abadie hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the game, The Old Boys's Jairo Lizar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jose Urko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Jose Urko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Old Boys's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacobo Gomesano in the 62nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Jacobo Gomesano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jose Urko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 66 minutes into the game, Jairo Lizar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jose Urko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Jairo Lizar sped through Tiburones Machos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jose Urko. In the 75th minute, Jairo Lizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Urko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. If Justo Perpinya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Lizar in the 88th minute of play forced Tiburones Machos's goalkeeper Jose Urko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of The Old Boys booed when Tiburones Machos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Hulberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Urko made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Jacobo Gomesano sent off a good shot on target. If Justo Perpinya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Old Boys's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
