Júlio Schmidt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luís Saldanha's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 32 minutes, Pedro Luís Saldanha made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Júlio Schmidt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Slawomir Lampe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vefa Sevimli was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Wertian S Salvinorins got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Barciniak. After 53 minutes Wertian S Salvinorins's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Virgílio Cunha who took care of the corner kick. 55 minutes into the match, Wertian S Salvinorins's goal looked a bit too open when Mário de Azevedo came free, but Cheb Yacef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pindorama Eagles defense, Pedro Luís Saldanha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Schmidt. The S.E. Pindorama Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Schmidt should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Júlio Schmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's attentive João Carlos Britto managed to snatch the ball when Wieslaw Barciniak made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute Vefa Sevimli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes S.E. Pindorama Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Aparecido. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
