Luukas Van Halbeeck started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Georges Van Der Talen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Tuta Le Van shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Maerschalcx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Lex Haesevoets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, José Augusto Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Qvalfeldt in the 12th minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Júlio Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Qvalfeldt got free with Júlio Schmidt in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when S.E. Pindorama Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 16 in the game by Luukas Van Halbeeck from a close distance when the talented Júlio Schmidt managed to make a qualified save. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's players were relieved. Tuta Le Van charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tuta Le Van the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Tuta Le Van hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Per Qvalfeldt took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Júlio Schmidt to make any attempt to save it. Luukas Van Halbeeck struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Júlio Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Dreigoten. Júlio Schmidt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luukas Van Halbeeck in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes S.E. Pindorama Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Tuta Le Van. 41 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper Júlio Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Qvalfeldt. After a rather tough play, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Aga Cuarto got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cedric Van Landewijck in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júlio Schmidt saved S.E. Pindorama Eagles from getting behind. In the 46th minute, João Augusto Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georges Van Der Talen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Schmidt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Luukas Van Halbeeck came free, but Júlio Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Mário de Azevedo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Júlio Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cedric Van Landewijck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luukas Van Halbeeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cedric Van Landewijck in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júlio Schmidt saved S.E. Pindorama Eagles from getting behind. Georges Van Der Talen made a great header on SK Dreigoten's corner, it was just that S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Júlio Schmidt managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Virgílio Rodrigues got a free kick in the 67th minute. Gualter Aparecido hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Júlio Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedric Van Landewijck in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute Cedric Van Landewijck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Cedric Van Landewijck made a precise shot to the right of Júlio Schmidt. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the referee ended the match the SK Dreigoten players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
