Blake Vogt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dexter Morgan in the 11th minute of play. Timothy Harrell struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Pablo-Enrique Escobar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vancouver Reds. 14 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Corderall came free, but Blake Vogt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dexter Morgan in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blake Vogt saved Vancouver Reds from getting behind. Marshall Valenzuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blake Vogt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borja Colidio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Blake Vogt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate ® 9-12. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frances Grossman to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Dexter Morgan sped through Vancouver Reds's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Blake Vogt. 55 minutes into the game, Paulo Pezzella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Blake Vogt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate ® 9-12's zone, Timothy Harrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo-Enrique Escobar came out of the goal and Timothy Harrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dexter Morgan in the 63rd minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Blake Vogt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of River Plate ® 9-12 booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frances Grossman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dexter Morgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes of play River Plate ® 9-12's Paulo Pezzella was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Paulo Pezzella hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Vancouver Reds's Blake Vogt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Vancouver Reds from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute of the match, Borja Colidio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Blake Vogt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Vancouver Reds fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. River Plate ® 9-12 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
