An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Iuga in the 11th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Tautvydas Mickevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tautvydas Mickevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Bâru in the 12th minute of play. Tiberiu Iuga got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ferdinand Şteţ. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gabriel Turi hit a great ball. Valentin Nicholas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Manuel Amânaloae struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Tautvydas Mickevičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandria Team08. Fabrício Mesquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corneliu Macamete having to make a save. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Davi Coutinho hit a great ball. Manuel Amânaloae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tautvydas Mickevičius having to interfere. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Tautvydas Mickevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Goma in the 37th minute of play. Tautvydas Mickevičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Dobrea in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Freddy Primo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tiberiu Iuga came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Alexandria Team08 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiberiu Iuga couldn't finish the play. After 43 minutes of play, Alexandria Team08's Felix Dobrea made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tautvydas Mickevičius was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Amânaloae made a kick off. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Fabrício Mesquita got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Gabriel Turi notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Alexandria Team08's Corneliu Macamete. Corneliu Macamete was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Mesquita in the 68th minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Corneliu Macamete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciprian Avacariței to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Macamete having to interfere. In the 75th minute Fabrício Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Macamete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Fabrício Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tautvydas Mickevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Dobrea in the 95th minute of play.
