Rickard Jakobsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zebastian Lindholm in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Ingvar Wennerqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garphyttan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Gladdarna the free kick. Ingvar Wennerqvist hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Edgar Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Freddie Stenberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Gladdarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Garphyttan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! The referee gave IFK Gladdarna a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by J.P. J.J., who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Garphyttan's Jörgen Gummeson. 0-2. Jörgen Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Stenberg in the 21st minute of play. IFK Gladdarna's Rickard Jakobsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save IFK Gladdarna from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Kristian Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Lennart Svanström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rickard Jakobsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jörgen Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Hamrin in the 26th minute of play. Garphyttan's Zebastian Lindholm suffered a concussion in the 29th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When J.P. J.J. fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Gladdarna's protests and gave J.P. J.J. a yellow card for diving instead. Garphyttan's Jörgen Gummeson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Hamrin in the 33rd minute of play. Rickard Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Svensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörgen Gummeson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Gladdarna's zone, Jesus Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Jakobsson came out of the goal and Jesus Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, IFK Gladdarna's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Arce came free, but Rickard Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garphyttan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lennart Svanström in the 44th minute. A nice corner shot did that Lennart Svanström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rickard Jakobsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Rickard Jakobsson managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Garphyttan's Lennart Svanström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to IFK Gladdarna getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Kristian Bergqvist hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes, Garphyttan's Lennart Svanström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rickard Jakobsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Garphyttan reached it.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Arce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jörgen Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Hamrin in the 54th minute of the match. Jörgen Gummeson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Hamrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Jörgen Gummeson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the IFK Gladdarna defense, Jesus Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rickard Jakobsson. The IFK Gladdarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rickard Jakobsson should have stopped the shot. Jörgen Gummeson was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Freddie Stenberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Freddie Stenberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Rickard Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Henriksson in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, IFK Gladdarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Walker to maneuver through the defense. Garphyttan made a substitution. Ture Klintæus replaced Lars-Erik Lundkvist. In the 75th minute, Filiph Boström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rickard Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Svanström in the 76th minute of play. Jens-Ove Kvarnström hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Lennart Svanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Jakobsson having to interfere. Rickard Jakobsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesus Arce went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Lennart Svanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Jakobsson having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristian Bergqvist got free with Jörgen Gummeson in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Freddie Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Gummeson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörgen Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Stenberg in the 93rd minute of the match. Kurt Hamrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Garphyttan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. IFK Gladdarna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
