In the 2nd minute Marc Richter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Emanuel Schrappe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Set Fire's Delmiro Rosalio did a great save. 5 minutes into the game, Tozé Novais was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Set Fire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV Bad Harzburg the free kick. Daniel Dziura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Tim Wiese made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Gideon Weber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klaus Vielhaus kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Daniel Dziura's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Tim Wiese skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Larry von Stetten hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. John Rambo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. Tim Wiese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Pedrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

51 minutes into the match, Set Fire's Daniel Dziura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tim Wiese narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tim Wiese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Dziura, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Halldor Sönksen during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halldor Sönksen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when Set Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogério Pedrosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes of play, Set Fire's Daniel Dziura made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmiro Rosalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halldor Sönksen in the 95th minute of play.
