Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stefan Vanghele kicked off to start the match. Tim Wiese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexei Caraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 3rd minute, Sandu Botnaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tim Wiese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexei Caraman in the 8th minute of play. Tim Wiese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Vanghele, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halldor Sönksen in the 14th minute of play forced UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes UFC Puturoasa got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Vanghele. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Botnaru in the 26th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Tim Wiese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Schrappe made a great header on SV Bad Harzburg's corner, it was just that UFC Puturoasa's Thibaut Courtois managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 33rd minute Eckard Döngelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the UFC Puturoasa defense, Eckard Döngelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thibaut Courtois. The UFC Puturoasa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thibaut Courtois should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese got control of the ball when Alexei Caraman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, UFC Puturoasa's Alexandru Ciocan got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marc Richter made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Richter in the 53rd minute of play forced UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Wiese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexei Caraman in the 58th minute of play. Klaus Vielhaus hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Halldor Sönksen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thibaut Courtois, 0-2. In the 65th minute Stefan Vanghele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wiese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to UFC Puturoasa getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ruslan Blanari hit a great ball. Tim Wiese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandru Ciocan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Schrappe hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, UFC Puturoasa's Alexei Caraman tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. UFC Puturoasa's Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halldor Sönksen in the 78th minute of play. Stefan Vanghele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Wiese having to interfere. Tim Wiese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexei Caraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes, Klaus Vielhaus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Bad Harzburg and the UFC Puturoasa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Vielhaus. If Alexei Caraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Wiese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexei Caraman in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Tim Wiese, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute Stefan Vanghele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wiese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Vanghele took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tim Wiese. Tim Wiese dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The SV Bad Harzburg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SV Bad Harzburg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
