Wesley Ricketts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Larry Butt hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Wesley Ricketts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Napoleon Rydz in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, Söderbröder's Alessandro Clarkfeldt got a free kick in the 21st minute. Wesley Ricketts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Clarkfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Calum Frost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Axel Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesley Ricketts didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Söderbröder's Alessandro Clarkfeldt shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Agapito Cabanela's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wesley Ricketts firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Tom Rosický got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Hjortberg in the 40th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Wesley Ricketts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Hjortberg took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wesley Ricketts. Wesley Ricketts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Söderbröder's zone, Sammy Le Tissier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Axel Nyman came out of the goal and Sammy Le Tissier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Andrew Thomas made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Söderbröder got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Clarkfeldt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brad Symons in the 56th minute of play forced Söderbröder's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulão Tasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wesley Ricketts having to make a save. 62 minutes into the match, Sammy Le Tissier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Axel Nyman. Söderbröder's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sammy Le Tissier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After 65 minutes of play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Sammy Le Tissier made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Axel Nyman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oscar Hjortberg scored 4-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wesley Ricketts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 70 minutes, Miromir Ikalewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Söderbröder and the Clapham Comets F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Söderbröder got a freekick which was hit by Miromir Ikalewicz. In the 74th minute Kevin Levin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Ricketts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute Alessandro Clarkfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Ricketts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Söderbröder got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Levin. After 82 played minutes Clapham Comets F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Bourton. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Alessandro Clarkfeldt put it in 5-3 from a short distance just to the right of Wesley Ricketts. After some careless play in the Clapham Comets F.C. defense, Alessandro Clarkfeldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wesley Ricketts. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wesley Ricketts should have stopped the shot. Wesley Ricketts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Clarkfeldt in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Söderbröder were the better team. Söderbröder's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
