Gwidon Iwanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Westbam's Gwidon Iwanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Berto in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lucio Matia hit a great ball. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Borys Smolarek to make the kick off. In the 86th minute Amadeo Su shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Iwanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The La Candela FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when La Candela FC's Baldomiro Gonzalez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomiro Gonzalez in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwidon Iwanowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gwidon Iwanowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Berto in the 93rd minute. After 94th play minutes Baldomiro Gonzalez shot 4-4, a short shot which went by Gwidon Iwanowski and just under the crossbar into goal. La Candela FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Westbam had controlled the match.
