The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Benitez in the 5th minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Jack Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braulio Perrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Lindgren having to interfere. Jack Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Txeru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Köping's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Benitez came free, but Jack Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Jonatan Ferran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Mar de Ajó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jack Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Txeru in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Primitivo Artaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Defensores de Mar de Ajó booed when Köping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Bark didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Köping's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Benitez came free, but Jack Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Benitez in the 27th minute of the match. Jack Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Montez in the 28th minute of play. Salvador Benitez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Txeru succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. After 44 played minutes Köping got a freekick which was hit by Karl Bark. Karl Bark's late challenge caught a Defensores de Mar de Ajó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl Bark helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Lidström made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Dante Txeru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Txeru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jack Lindgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute of the match, Salvador Benitez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jack Lindgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 58 minutes into the match, Köping's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Benitez came free, but Jack Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Benitez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Jack Lindgren 60 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Txeru in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jack Lindgren saved Köping from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Dante Txeru slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jack Lindgren. That made the score 0-6 after 64 minutes of play. Dante Txeru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jack Lindgren made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, Dante Txeru notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Köping's Jack Lindgren. Jack Lindgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 71 played minutes Defensores de Mar de Ajó got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Domeka. 72 minutes into the match, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Lidström came free, but Benedicto Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Donostia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jack Lindgren having to make a save. With his leg Jack Lindgren managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Dante Txeru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Dante Txeru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jack Lindgren was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Dante Txeru was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 85th minute, Federico Lon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd match minute, Köping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Bark to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Köping's zone, Salvador Benitez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Lindgren came out of the goal and Salvador Benitez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 minutes, Dante Txeru made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Köping's Jack Lindgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Defensores de Mar de Ajó could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Köping throughout the match.
