An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Aronsson in the 22nd minute of play forced GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Antonis Maltezos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Thanos Katsafanas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sakis Kaberis came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the GREEN LIONS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sakis Kaberis couldn't finish the play. Jack Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prodromos Koufos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prodromos Koufos in the 30th minute of the match. Dimitris Kalokiris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prodromos Koufos in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jack Lindgren saved Köping from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Sakis Kaberis put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jack Lindgren. Prodromos Koufos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Lindgren having to interfere. After the first half GREEN LIONS were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Stig Aronsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köping fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 62nd match minute, Köping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Åke Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Köping's Joakim Rosin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonis Maltezos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. After 80 played minutes Köping got a freekick which was hit by Maksymilian Szkaradek. After having played for 82 minutes, Prodromos Koufos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GREEN LIONS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prodromos Koufos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Makis Liras hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Köping's Thor Sjöberg got a free kick in the 88th minute. Prodromos Koufos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Jack Lindgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Prodromos Koufos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-5 to the left of a surprised Jack Lindgren 96 minutes into the match. GREEN LIONS played a much better game than Köping and deserved their victory. The Köping players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
