Björn Lövskog started the match with the kick off. Chris Nordås made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Frank Jakobsson sent off a good shot on target. Chris Nordås made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Lövskog in the 7th minute of play. Tarmo Ollonen scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pål Håkansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Dag Bagge got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Patrik Björk sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Pål Håkansson didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Sjötorp IF's Hjalmar Dalman got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Sjötorp IF's Tarmo Ollonen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Håkansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Dag Bagge got a free kick in the 19th minute. Sjötorp IF's Tarmo Ollonen got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chris Nordås made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Jakobsson in the 22nd minute. Charlie Nässén hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Albin Lund got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Hjalmar Dalman made a precise shot to the right of Pål Håkansson. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 33 minutes of play, Sjötorp IF's Hjalmar Dalman made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Håkansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Sjötorp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Lund came free, but Chris Nordås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egon Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Hjalmar Dalman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Pål Håkansson made a huge save. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Pål Håkansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Hockeysnubbarnas BK from getting a goal against them. If Tarmo Ollonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Nils-Åke Runberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sjötorp IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Åke Runberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Håkansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pål Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarmo Ollonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sjötorp IF's Tarmo Ollonen got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Filiph Tidéksson charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filiph Tidéksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sjötorp IF played a much better game than Hockeysnubbarnas BK and deserved their victory. The Hockeysnubbarnas BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
