Tony Nordgren's late challenge caught a Köping's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tony Nordgren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Tony Nordgren got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Alex Lidström hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes, Maksymilian Szkaradek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Köping and the Hockeysnubbarnas BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Pål Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Rosin in the 17th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, Köping's Alex Lidström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pål Håkansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute, Alex Lidström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köping fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 29th minute, Stig Aronsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pål Håkansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Alex Lidström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Håkansson having to interfere. Fredrik Löv hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Alex Lidström made a precise shot to the right of Pål Håkansson. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Pål Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Rosin in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joakim Rosin to make the kick off. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Joakim Rosin scored to the left of an out of position Pål Håkansson, making the score, 0-5. 63 minutes into the game, Joakim Rosin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Pål Håkansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the game, Nils-Åke Arvidsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Köping's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hockeysnubbarnas BK the free kick. Nils-Åke Arvidsson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Fredrik Abelsson made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Valter Strömbom. After 73 played minutes Hockeysnubbarnas BK got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Löv. Pål Håkansson was a little too slow when Thor Sjöberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-7. If Alex Lidström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Joakim Rosin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köping fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Alex Lidström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pål Håkansson came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Lidström slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Dag Bagge got a free kick in the 91st minute. Joakim Rosin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Pål Håkansson made a huge save. The Hockeysnubbarnas BK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Köping's performance. The match ended with a win for Köping.
