Prospero Matxin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to 17 de enero team getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Baltasar Millano hit a great ball. If Baltasar Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Chris Nordås made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Benat in the 56th minute. Chris Nordås showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Millano, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes in the game, Ricardo Benat fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Chris Nordås having to interfere. Chris Nordås was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Ricardo Benat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricardo Benat really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 78thth minute of the game Hjalmar Dalman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 17 de enero team's Prospero Matxin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Leonardo Sjöberg notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of 17 de enero team's Prospero Matxin. Prospero Matxin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Sjötorp IF's Chris Nordås got control of the ball when Matias Leguizamón tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chris Nordås made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ricardo Benat sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Matias Leguizamón managed to get in a good position for a shot. 17 de enero team's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Leguizamón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chris Nordås breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Benat scored 4-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chris Nordås, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dionisio Tolino kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Sjötorp IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
