Erasmo Ixona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Scrima in the 5th minute of play. Nereo Henry's late challenge caught a Sporting Club Sicilia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nereo Henry helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Nereo Henry hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Derwin in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Gizzi saved Sporting Club Sicilia from getting behind. In the 12thth minute of the game Flavio Scrima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marlin FC's Erasmo Ixona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Nereo Henry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marlin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Angelo Gizzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 21st minute. In the 24th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Jon to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Ignacio Derwin took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Angelo Gizzi to make any attempt to save it. Flavio Scrima kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Sporting Club Sicilia's Angelo Gizzi got control of the ball when Domingo Jon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Gizzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timoteo Evis went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

After having played for 53 minutes, Gianluca Scamacca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Club Sicilia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gianluca Scamacca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sporting Club Sicilia's Angelo Gizzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Eufrasio in the 55th minute of play. Ignacio Derwin scored 5-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Gizzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Gizzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Henry in the 61st minute of the match. Sporting Club Sicilia's Angelo Gizzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 77th minute of play. Anier Eufrasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Gizzi having to interfere. Angelo Gizzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marlin FC's Erasmo Ixona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Scrima in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 88th minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Angelo Gizzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
