Marcel Queirós started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Abel Matorin. Doriva Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Di Martino in the 6th minute of the match. Damiano Strazzabosco scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doriva Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Doriva Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Strazzabosco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Queirós had several of the FC Mims's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Amerigo La Penna as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Artur Sarmento hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Damiano Strazzabosco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doriva Simões was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Doriva Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damiano Strazzabosco in the 30th minute of play. If Camillo Bocchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 33 minutes, Alessio Ubriaco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Mims's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessio Ubriaco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Damiano Strazzabosco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva Simões. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damiano Strazzabosco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Damiano Strazzabosco struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Doriva Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Mims. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Fabrizio Di Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Mims's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrizio Di Martino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doriva Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Di Martino in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to FC Mims getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Fabrizio Di Martino hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Damiano Strazzabosco made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damiano Strazzabosco in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doriva Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Bruno Paes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Felice Di Biagio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Doriva Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Panella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elia Panella during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Elia Panella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Kauan Garcia was substituted for Edinho Favoretto. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Natã Koehler was substituted for Ediberto Xavier. Elia Panella hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 62 minutes, Kauan Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ and the FC Mims players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Kauan Garcia hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, FC Mims's Fabrizio Di Martino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. FC Mims's Elia Panella got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Fausto Scarpone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Mims and the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ. Júnior Tinoco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Amerigo La Penna. 2-3. Marcel Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, FC Mims's Doriva Simões threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damiano Strazzabosco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Mims were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
