Serafin Maurino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Alfonsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 5 played minutes PINGO PINGO got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Cubero. Marcos Sustrai hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Alessandro Vettori, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Fabrizio Cremonese notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of PINGO PINGO's Serafin Maurino. Serafin Maurino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute PINGO PINGO were awarded a corner. Fabian Cubero went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrizio Cremonese didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernabe Oto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Urbani having to interfere. After a rather tough play, XMAS's Anfilogino Di Nino got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes of play PINGO PINGO's Marcos Sustrai was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Marcos Sustrai hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Desiderio Restu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Restu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dennis Urbani having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Pallotta in the 53rd minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Serafin Maurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to XMAS getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Eugenio Casiraghi hit a great ball. When Desiderio Restu came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the PINGO PINGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Restu couldn't finish the play. PINGO PINGO were furious when António Frankenhaeuser was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PINGO PINGO! Serafin Maurino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Pallotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Leandro Gonzalez Pirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, XMAS's Fabrizio Eboli got a free kick in the 89th minute. Desiderio Restu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Urbani having to interfere. Angelo Pallotta hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Desiderio Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. XMAS were victorious despite being under pressure from PINGO PINGO for much of the match.
