Oro Cameno started the match with the kick off. Eustratios Vertsotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oro Cameno in the 3rd minute of play. Fotis Nousias kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Oro Cameno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustratios Vertsotis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. When Olympiacos FC's Dimitris Koudas in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st match minute, Olympiacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikiforos Valaoras to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Oro Cameno fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eustratios Vertsotis, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Olmos got free with Eustratios Vertsotis in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cancelo Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Koudas in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Markos Kareklopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Cancelo Gol. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 32 minutes, Richie Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Richie Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 33 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Nousias. Eustratios Vertsotis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Román Coello. 36 minutes into the match, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Koudas came free, but Cancelo Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oro Cameno came free, but Eustratios Vertsotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Rocafort C.F. were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Olympiacos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Román Coello took the corner. After taking down the ball on Racing Rocafort C.F.'s corner Godfried Parmentier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eustratios Vertsotis quite easily take care of the ball. Olympiacos FC's Eustratios Vertsotis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Olympiacos FC from getting a goal against them. If Godfried Parmentier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dimitris Koudas made the kick off in the second half. Dionysis Valassakis charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Olympiacos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Racing Rocafort C.F. made a substitution. Danilo Jurado replaced Ramiro Olmos. After some careless play in the Olympiacos FC defense, Oro Cameno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustratios Vertsotis. The Olympiacos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustratios Vertsotis should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oro Cameno came free, but Eustratios Vertsotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Richie Duarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Rocafort C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 85 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfried Parmentier came free, but Eustratios Vertsotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oro Cameno in the 87th minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Eustratios Vertsotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfried Parmentier took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustratios Vertsotis. Eustratios Vertsotis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Godfried Parmentier scored 7-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustratios Vertsotis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the game, Danilo Jurado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Eustratios Vertsotis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
