In the 39th minute of the match, Everardo Regis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eustratios Vertsotis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

58 minutes into the match, ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚'s goalkeeper Mugur Aanicăi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimitris Koudas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Ignado in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustratios Vertsotis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 88 minutes, Lucio Corderall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ♚ Bastardos del Rey ♚ and the Olympiacos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eustratios Vertsotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Ignado, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When Fotis Nousias fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympiacos FC's protests and gave Fotis Nousias a yellow card for diving instead. Fotis Nousias kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
