After 16 minutes of play, Esquirla FC's Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Sasoin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 21 minutes, Michel Nilis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esquirla FC and the Gloria Verdinegra AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Esquirla FC got a freekick which was hit by Michel Nilis. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Leonardo Pepillo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Esquirla FC. Generoso Sasoin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richy Van Mellaert in the 26th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Sasoin was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas sped through Gloria Verdinegra AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Generoso Sasoin. Esquirla FC's Dimitri Huijbreghts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Pepillo in the 33rd minute of play. Martin Benat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Dimitri Huijbreghts made a huge save. Generoso Sasoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas in the 35th minute of play. Generoso Sasoin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Nilis in the 36th minute of the match. Dimitri Huijbreghts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Pepillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 minutes, Jerome Helssen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esquirla FC and the Gloria Verdinegra AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gloria Verdinegra AFC booed when Esquirla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerome Helssen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gloria Verdinegra AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Esquirla FC were winning 0-3.

53 minutes into the match, Gloria Verdinegra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Nilis came free, but Generoso Sasoin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitri Huijbreghts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Benat in the 58th minute of the match. Generoso Sasoin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Vic de Reyck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Pepillo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Dimitri Huijbreghts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gloria Verdinegra AFC. Dimitri Huijbreghts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Azibar in the 69th minute of the match. Simon Wery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Sasoin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After 84 played minutes Esquirla FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Wery. Feliciano Ermengol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dimitri Huijbreghts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Vic de Reyck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquirla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vic de Reyck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Sasoin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michel Nilis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle sounded Esquirla FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gloria Verdinegra AFC.
