BENA FK's Gaspar Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faruk Kaan in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Wållander in the 31st minute of play forced De Beverpatrouille's goalkeeper Garry Heijlen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bertel Van Bever came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the De Beverpatrouille fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertel Van Bever couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, BENA FK's Leonard Wahlström got a free kick in the 40th minute. 40 minutes into the match, De Beverpatrouille's Ivan Van Meerbeek broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 41st match minute, BENA FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Wahlström to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the game, Faruk Kaan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gaspar Leheren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faruk Kaan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Leheren having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bertel Van Bever to strike the kick off in the second half. Bertel Van Bever might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Leheren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertel Van Bever ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the BENA FK defense, Aureliano Jaraba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Leheren. The BENA FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Leheren should have stopped the shot. Fredric Klint scored 1-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garry Heijlen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute, Bertel Van Bever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of BENA FK booed when De Beverpatrouille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Jaraba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertel Van Bever's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Gaspar Leheren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. De Beverpatrouille's Ivan Van Meerbeek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gaspar Leheren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of De Beverpatrouille booed when BENA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Wållander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BENA FK's zone, Bertel Van Bever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Leheren came out of the goal and Bertel Van Bever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Faruk Kaan came free, but Gaspar Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faruk Kaan struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Gaspar Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Beverpatrouille.
