Thibault Mamardashvili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Olaru in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Ciociu in the 18th minute of play forced Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Thibault Mamardashvili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Granicerul were awarded a corner. Laurențiu Ciociu went to the cornerflag to take it. Octavian Bebeșel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Mula in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jardel Mula in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavian Bebeșel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Eusebiu Ianculescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thibault Mamardashvili. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Thibault Mamardashvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Ianculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebiu Ianculescu in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Eusebiu Ianculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granicerul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebiu Ianculescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thibault Mamardashvili was a little too slow when Eusebiu Ianculescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 47th minute, Wanderson da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Granicerul's Octavian Bebeșel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Antunes in the 57th minute of play. João Vítor de Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Vítor de Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Granicerul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0.
