The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sébastien Marionneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patxi Claude, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Sébastien Marionneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patxi Claude in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Posejdon Gdynia booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge-Luis Sivieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sébastien Marionneau came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Zorros del Desierto's Jorge-Luis Sivieri. But to his dismay, Jorge-Luis Sivieri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Posejdon Gdynia defense, Patxi Claude kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sébastien Marionneau. The Posejdon Gdynia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sébastien Marionneau should have stopped the shot. In the 25thth minute of the game Patxi Claude who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Posejdon Gdynia's Sébastien Marionneau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Posejdon Gdynia's Sébastien Marionneau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Posejdon Gdynia from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Patxi Claude sped through Posejdon Gdynia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sébastien Marionneau. Sébastien Marionneau was a little too slow when Patxi Claude got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patxi Claude in the 39th minute of play forced Posejdon Gdynia's goalkeeper Sébastien Marionneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Zorros del Desierto's Rodrigo Pérez to fire away a dangerous shot which Sébastien Marionneau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Patxi Claude succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 6-0 in the 43rd playminute. Patxi Claude's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sébastien Marionneau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Jorge-Luis Sivieri made a precise shot to the right of Sébastien Marionneau. Posejdon Gdynia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Patxi Claude struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Sébastien Marionneau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zorros del Desierto. Posejdon Gdynia's Sébastien Marionneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cerilo Romero in the 63rd minute of play. When Zorros del Desierto's Rui Shantala in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Posejdon Gdynia's goalie prevented a goal. Zorros del Desierto were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Posejdon Gdynia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 冰谷 谢霆锋 took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sylwester Hajduk during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Posejdon Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Sylwester Hajduk. 72 minutes into the game, Rui Shantala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Sébastien Marionneau was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's Rui Shantala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sébastien Marionneau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 88 minutes Posejdon Gdynia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 冰谷 谢霆锋 who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Rui Shantala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sébastien Marionneau was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zorros del Desierto had won after a very even match.
